It was a warm night wind that carried "Teenager in Love" down towards the Harlem river. Harry was busy inside the candy store, determined that the number on his arm and the revolver under the counter would keep him safe from the new threat to his life. These kids were here to rob him blind and he knew it. New Chevys and Fords with their fins cruised up and down the street while those teenagers stood around outside as if they owned the joint. They had been laughing and yelling all night. Then silence. That could only mean one thing. Mike Cohen was walking down Burnside Ave. The kids were gone in an instant. Harry gripped the old Smith and Wesson tighter but kept it out of sight.
